There is a 24 hour answerphone and office is open from 8am to 6pm every day


Each of our classrooms has a Curriculum that the keypersons work towards.  The keypersons add to the Learning Outcomes with topics or interests that meet the needs of the children within the classrooms.  These will vary from year to year as the cohorts change.  Each child has their own interests and this is what makes the link that is shared between parents and keypersons so important.  From the first Keyperson settle session to the continued links through in person chats, or via Tapestry ensuring that parents are very much involved with the Learning is what makes the Curriculum work.

We use Tapestry to let you know daily what your child has been doing, as well as their general care such as sleeping, eating etc.

We then will update you with a Progress Update each month to share development and how this can be supported at home.

We value your feedback and Tapestry is very much a two way communication tool for parents to use as well.

The Curriculums for each room show the Learning Outcomes being worked towards. Children develop at different rates and levels so these are a guide for staff and not a series of elements to tick box. The children are working towards these throughout their time in the room and at their own pace.

The 3 I's shows how the Curriculum supports the children to develop and how the staff record and assess progress.

How the keypersons use the Environment, the Curriculum and the children's interests to ensure that all learning matters and they can assess the Impact of the learning for each child.

For those children who need extra support, the Assess, Plan, Do, Review system enhances the existing curriculum and learning framework. For some, extra support within the classroom is enough. For those who need additional support from outside professionals, we will work with them to ensure all support is given and is meaningful.
